went to watch 2 A div finals in 2 days.
on Wednesday, it was the soccer girls' finals, VJ vs SA. at first me and Jia Ru only planned to watch that match, but then during our break before reading we decided to pon reading and go watch the RJ vs MJ one, vying for 3rd place.
AND I TELL YOU, ponning reading to go watch that match was damn worthwhile. that match was even more exciting than the other one, i think. me and Jia Ru decided that the RJ captain was damn cute, although super short. she is a super successful bung i tell you. both of us were totally checking her out during the first part of the match, WAHAHAHA.
until i decided that no. 44 frm RJ was cuter than the captain, i suspect she is the vice-capt. quite bung-ish too. :)
oh yeah there was the cute bung referee too. :P
anyway, RJ beat MJ 1-0. i was supporting them anyway, obviously. but we were sitting at the MJ side cos Jia Ru wanted to check out the MJ mats supporting too! HAHAHA.
BUT, before you think that we went there to check bungs/mats out, we were actually watching the game seriously too ok!
VJ is super kiasu, the 1st match havent even finished like the whole sch already went to fill up the seats man. and they hang so many banners some more. but i was supporting VJ, dont know why. the VJ ppl sat at the MJ side so we moved to the SA side. SA supporters were streaming in too but not as many as VJ.
the SA vs VJ game was all right lah, just that at full-time it was still a draw 1-1, and even at extra time [like some sudden death round], both sides still hadnt scored. so they had to do penalties and Red Boots Pro frm SA missed!!! both of us just said before she took the shot, "if Red Boots miss ah, can chop off her legs alr!" and she MISSED!!
it was totally unexpected. but the VJ goalie is much better than the SA one. so anyway, VJ won lah. it was a wonder we didnt get whacked in the SA stands cos i was cheering [subtly] when VJ won. :P the penalties were the only part of the match that was exciting.
then yesterday was the volleyball boys' finals, NY vs TJ. it was almost like last yr, except this time i wasnt standing at the railings and Uncle Kwek wasnt standing next to me and singing "we are the champions" when we won.
er, so yeah, we won.
but volleyball is damn scary! kana whacked on the arms, then must dive and kana abrasions, omg. scary~
Sarah Choo was sitting next to me and she was nervous for the volleyball boys and all. i think it is her first time at such games. not surprisingly. :P
well, i would have taken photos during the finals, only i couldnt. the stupid camera on my phone is spoilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grarghhhhhhhh. if it's not my ipod it's my phone. wth.
